Hotel became a subject of the Hotel-and Restaurant program (currently the Hotel and Tourism progam) in high schools in 1994. Since the student groups were rather small back then, it was normally only one teacher in charge of the program. This created a need to meet with other teachers from other schools in the country, and that is how our network, whose aim it is to get together once a year, got started.
Every year a different school is handed the baton and, last year in Gävle, I raised my hand and invited everybody to come to Trollhättan in 2015.
