Did you know that

One of Sweden's largest industrial orders ever went to Trollhättan in 1920. The superpower Russia ordered one thousand locomotives from the manufacturer Nohab. 500 locomotives were delivered. Payment was made in the form of 56 tons of gold which was delivered by boat.

Did you know that

The ice cream classic “the 88” was invented in Trollhättan. Trollhätte Glass (now GB) launched the popular ice cream in 1964.
Trollhättan is the film metropolis of Sweden. More than 300 feature films have been produced in and around Trollhättan, and Trollhättan has its own Walk of Fame.

Did you know that

The Waterfall Days’ was launched in 1959 and is one of the nation's oldest city festivals. Every year the festival attracts around 100,000 visitors to Trollhättan.
The waterfalls and the locks are the most famous landmarks in Trollhättan. Every year hundreds of thousands of tourists come here get a view of the spectacular surroundings.
